Where is the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl being played?
The AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl will be held at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, Louisiana. Independence Stadium is located just outside of downtown on Pershing Boulevard, adjacent to Interstate 20.

How can I get the best seats available?
Tickets for the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl will be allocated first to active members of the Ohio Bobcat Club. For active Ohio Bobcat Club members, the Bobcat Priority Point System will be used to prioritize ticket purchasing and seat location for AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl.

What is the Ohio Bobcat Club?
Ohio University Intercollegiate Athletics relies on private support each year to provide the finest opportunities for its student-athletes. The Ohio Bobcat Club is the official fundraising arm of Ohio Athletics and offers a way for individuals to help our student-athletes receive a quality education and competitive experience at Ohio University.

The overall goal of the Ohio Bobcat Club is to provide unrestricted funding to enhance the experience of all 400 student-athletes that comprise our 16 men's and women's intercollegiate sport programs. In addition, tax deductible contributions help all of our sports programs be competitive in the MAC and nationally.

How do I join the Ohio Bobcat Club?
Anyone can become a member and begin enjoying the benefits of membership by donating a minimum of $50. Joining at the $50 level or above provides you the opportunity to start earning priority points.

What is the Bobcat Priority Point System?
The Bobcat Priority Point System will initially be used to prioritize ticket purchasing and seat location privileges for all post-season events (NCAA and NIT), bowl games, away contests, conference tournaments, and other away/special contests.

The Bobcat Priority Point System will also be considered when season ticket holders request seat upgrades and when season ticket locations become available.

How can I increase my Bobcat Priority Points?
The easiest way to increase your points is by increasing your annual gift to the Ohio Bobcat Club or by making a capital gift to assist with one of the Athletic Department's facility projects.

Is there an official AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl hotel for Alumni, Fans, and Family?
Yes. The official 2012 AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl hotel for Ohio University is the Hilton Shreveport.

When will the Bobcat Bash begin at the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl?
The Bobcat Bash time and location is TBA. Further details will be announced on OhioBobcats.com shortly.

The Big Game Show Team Welcome Party
Wednesday, December 26
8:00 pm CT
Riverview Hall – Downtown Shreveport

Before the teams compete on the field, they will have to battle it out in the “Big Game Show.” The show will begin at 8:00 pm at Riverview Hall in downtown Shreveport. “The Big Game Show” is a friendly competition between the teams before they take the gridiron, which consists of coaches and players participating in three different game shows. Fellowship of Christian Athletes Breakfast

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes local chapter will sponsor a full breakfast for the players and coaches at the Bossier Civic Center. This event is open to the public, and tickets are just $5. Click here to purchase tickets for the event.

AT&T Pep Rally & Parade

Louisiana Boardwalk – Bossier City

Head out to the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City the night before the game to catch the AT&T Pep Rally and Parade down the main street of the Boardwalk. Come get a taste of Louisiana Carnival Time featuring Mardi Gras Floats, as well as the bands, cheerleaders and mascots from each team. This event is free and open to the public!

MetroPCS Fan Fest

Get to the fairgrounds early on gameday and stop by the Hirsch Coliseum for the MetroPCS Fan Fest, featuring inflatables, interactive games, photo opportunities, local food, and live entertainment, including music by Windstorm. This event is free and open to the public!
