Ohio Cheerleading and Mascot tryout dates set for the 2013-2014 team The Ohio University cheerleading team is comprised of 12 males and 12 females. The team cheers all Ohio football games, Ohio Men's and Women's home basketball games, as well as, postseason games. Practices are held three times a week - minimum of three hours each time, mandatory lifting sessions with lifting coach two days a week, plus conditioning sessions. The cheerleaders also attend several public events for the University. We are looking forward to a great year!! All team members are expected to maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0, must be registered as a full-time student (minimum of 12 hours) and are held to student athlete standards given by Ohio University.
