Ohio Dance Team
About the OUDT The Ohio University Dance Team serves as representatives of Ohio University as well as leaders among the student body. The purpose of the OUDT is to support intercollegiate athletics and their fellow Bobcats on to victory. The team participates in dance routines to encourage crowd attention on the court or field. The Ohio Dance Team is a student-run program affiliated with the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Officially, the Dance Team is a registered student organization. The Squad consists of 15 members with three serving as captions every year, two seniors and a junior. The dance team performs on the sidelines at all home Men's Football games and court side, halftime and post-game at all home Men's Basketball games. The team also performs at special University and community events. The OUDT joins with the Football players, Marching 110 Drumline and Men's Cheerleaders for partner dances also. The Ohio Dance Team travels with the Men's Basketball team to the Mid-American Conference Tournament in Cleveland. Dance Team Policy Statement (.pdf) Practices
