ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio IMG Sports Network is ready to bring Bobcat football and basketball "from Court Street to Columbus, from West Virginia to Kentucky and beyond."  The 12-station network has an over-the-air coverage area that hits three states. In addition, the broadcasts are available online through OhioBobcats.com and Tunein.com/OhioBobcats. They are also free on the TuneIn app.

Programming starts on Monday (Aug. 27) with the debut of Bobcat Sports Today, a Monday through Friday sportscast on Ohio Athletics, and the Frank Solich Show from Broney's in Uptown Athens. The show is scheduled for 11 Mondays throughout the season from 6-7 p.m. EST. Fans are welcome to attend or call in to get the thoughts of the 14th-year Ohio head coach.

Russ Eisenstein returns for his 11th season as the "Voice of the Bobcats." Ohio Alum Rob Cornelius has been a part of the broadcasts for close to two decades.  Together, the duo has called some of the greatest moments in Ohio Athletics history.

"These days, there are so many ways to follow a program, so it means a great deal that fans put their trust in us to be their eyes and ears, year after year," said Eisenstein. "We want listeners to have a total 'infotainment' experience. The hope is that they can trust us, know what's going on and have some fun along the way."

As he has for many games over the past two seasons, Ohio Alum Ryan Boyd will make it a trio for several weeks this year. Boyd is the Assistant Director for External Relations for the Ohio University Alumni Association. He also broadcasts local sports in southeast Ohio.

"I've had many broadcast partners in my career, but over the years Rob and I have really formed a unique bond," said Eisenstein. "It works for us, and, hopefully, it works for Ohio fans, too. Whenever Ryan is available to join the broadcasts, we have a chemistry that you don't often hear from a three-man booth."

Jake Eisenberg joins the team this year as the new network studio host. Eisenberg is also a broadcaster in Minor League Baseball for the Winston-Salem Dash.

WXTQ (Power 105) in Athens returns as the network flagship station. Columbus listeners can hear the Cats on WYTS (1230 AM). WAOL (99.5 FM) in Ripley brings the broadcasts into the Cincinnati area. WMOA (1490 AM) and WJAW (630 AM and 100.9 FM) covers Marietta and Parkersburg, WV.  WCJO (97.7 FM) in Jackson has been a network staple. The partnership with the WOUB family of stations increases the network reach in Cambridge, Chillicothe, Ironton and Zanesville.

For the second-straight year, Ohio led Mid-American Conference IMG schools in total listenership in 2017-18. The internet and app streams make the broadcasts available world-wide.

Each game broadcast begins one hour prior to kickoff and concludes with a comprehensive postgame report. Features played during the pregame show and pictures from home and the road are often tweeted out through @OhioFootball and @RussEisenstein during the course of gameweek.
