ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio University Athletics announced today the addition of Matt Broders as the department's Assistant Athletic Director for Annual Giving.
In his new capacity, Broders will manage all aspects of the Ohio Bobcat Club Annual Fund, which will include premium seating for football and men's basketball and assist with major gift efforts for The Promise Lives Campaign.
"I've known Matt and followed his career for a couple of years," said Senior Associate Athletic Director Jim Harris. "He learned under one of the best in Bob Madden at Boise State. I couldn't be more excited to be adding him to our team."
Broders arrives in Athens after spending the past six years at Boise State University where he served in a number of capacities first as a graduate assistant than as the Director of the 2010 Bronco Golf Series and most recently as a Development Specialist.
During his time at Boise State, Broders was significantly involved with increasing the Bronco Athletic Association's Annual Fund. He also played a significant role in managing the department's football parking program.
In addition, Broders managed a staff of interns, while overseeing the department's social media platforms, which enhanced the fundraising program.
Broders received his Bachelors degree from Boise State in 2006 and his Master's degree from Idaho State in 2009.
