ATHENS, Ohio-Ohio senior captain Aliecia Bores has been named Sports Illustrated "On Campus" Cheerleader of the Week.

The Monroeville, Ohio native was featured on SI.com with a photo gallery and a question and answer session. She is majoring in retail merchandising and pre-law, with a minor in business.

"Aliecia has done a wonderful job balancing the demands of school while serving as a captain on the squad," said Ohio cheerleading coach Tricia Perry. "She has served her teammates well during her time with the team and this recognition is certainly well-deserved."

Bores is the second Bobcat cheerleader to be highlighted this season by SI.com. Teammate Kristine Mayle was also recognized last September.
