ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio athletic department has announced the hiring of two new employees and the promotion of two others.

Jason Corriher has joined the Bobcat staff as the new Director of Media Relations and Trevor Doll has been hired as Ohio's Director of Compliance. Internally, Ohio Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt has promoted Carmen Greene to Director of Ticket Operations and Jason Kelly to Director of Academic Services.

Corriher comes to Ohio following three years as the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Information at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. While at Marist, Corriher supervised the publicity for each of the institution's 23 sports, and was the primary media contact for men's basketball, football and baseball. At Ohio, Corriher will coordinate the media relations efforts for 16 Bobcat sports, and will serve as the primary contact for football.

Corriher graduated from North Carolina State in 1999 with a degree in mass communication. Following his time as a student assistant at N.C. State, Corriher landed at the Big South Conference, where he spent one year as an assistant and one as the league's director of public relations. His list of experience also includes working for two seasons as a SportsTicker correspondent for the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes.

Corriher is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Doll recently joined the Ohio staff following a stint with the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, where he carried the title of administrative fellow for compliance and assisted with the office's daily operations during the 2006-07 athletic season. At Ohio, Doll will coordinate the compliance efforts of the `Cats 16-sport program to ensure institutional, Mid-American Conference and NCAA guidelines.

Prior to his time at the MAAC, Doll worked at Florida Atlantic from January 2005 to August 2006. He started at FAU as a graduate assistant for compliance, but was promoted to interim director of compliance from Jan. 1, 2006. His other athletics experience includes serving as a risk management coordinator for the 2004 Spring Beach Blast 5K run and volleyball tournament, and he spent from 2002-03 in the Flagler College sports information office.

A 2007 MBA recipient from Florida Atlantic following a bachelor's in sport management from Flagler in 2005, Doll is AACSB accredited.

"We are very excited that Jason Corriher and Trevor Doll have joined our senior athletics staff," Hocutt said. "They both bring tremendous enthusiasm and professional experience that will enhance our department's efforts to serve our student-athletes."

Greene will now serve as Ohio's Director of Ticket Operations following two years as the Bobcats' Assistant Director of Ticket Operations and Camps Coordinator. In that capacity, Greene has been involved in many of the day-to-day tasks of a ticket office, and has handled the bulk of the camp duties such as registration, brochures and financial matters.

Greene graduated from Otterbein College with a bachelor's in sport management in 2003 and earned a master's in sport administration from Belmont University in 2005. Prior to Ohio, she served as the Athletics Ticket Office Intern at Vanderbilt during the 2004-05 season.

Kelly has been at Ohio since the fall of 2003 when he started in the Academic Services department as an intern. In April 2004, Kelly was hired full-time as an assistant director in the office, a position he held until his recent promotion. Kelly also served as the Interim Director of Athlete Academic Services starting in January 2007 prior to his current appointment.

Among the many duties in his new position, Kelly oversees Bobcat student-athlete's NCAA academic eligibility and progress toward graduation, serves as the primary liaison between the athletic department and the university registrar's office and supervises the academic services staff.

Kelly earned a bachelor's degree in 2001 and a master's in education/sport administration in 2003, both from Mississippi State. He is a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics.

"Carmen Greene and Jason Kelly have both provided outstanding service to Ohio Athletics," Hocutt said. "Their dedication and focus on supporting our mission has been exemplary. I am very excited to announce their promotions."
