Volleyball
- The Bobcats are Oregon Classic Champions after posting a 3-0 record in Eugene, Ore., this past weekend.
- Ohio has yet to drop a set during the 2013 season (9-0). The mark includes a 3-0 sweep of No. 8 Oregon on Aug. 31.
- Sophomore setter Abby Gilleland was named the Oregon Classic MVP and also garnered MAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after averaging 10.22 assists/set, 1.3 kills/set, 1.8 points/set and 2.0 digs/set in Eugene.
- Junior outside hitter Kelly Lamberti was named to the Oregon Classic All-Tournament Team (3.78 kills/set, .325%).
- The Bobcats received 82 votes in Monday's AVCA Coaches Poll, ranking Ohio No. 27 in the nation.

Football
-Ohio was defeated this past Sunday at Louisville 49-7.
-With the loss, Ohio falls to 3-2 all-time against Louisville.
-Ohio's setback to Louisville marked the first time since 2009 in which the Bobcats have not won their season opener.
-The 55,332 fans at Sunday afternoon's game was the second largest crowd ever at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
-Senior Anthony Talbert caught his first career pass in an Ohio uniform as he hauled in a 36-yard reception.
-Senior offensive lineman Jon Lechnermade his 26th career start on Sunday against Louisville.

Women's Soccer
-The Ohio women's soccer team split a pair of matches this past week as it fell 3-1 to DePaul on Friday, but rebounded on Sunday with a dominating 5-1 win at Eastern Kentucky.
-The Bobcats' win on Sunday over Eastern Kentucky was the first win for head coach Aaron Rodgers.
-Ohio's five goal effort was the first time it had scored five since a 5-1 home win over Cleveland State on Sept. 4 of the 2005 season.
-The Bobcats outshot their opponents 30-14 this past weekend.

Field Hockey
- Saturday afternoon the Ohio University field hockey team (0-1) dropped a 5-1 contest to No. 16 Boston University (1-0) in the season opener for both squads Saturday at New Balance Field in Boston, Mass.
-Senior Luli Gomez Teruel paced the Bobcats with two goals on three shots, while senior Jessica Jue and redshirt junior Lauryl Desch each notched an assist for the Green & White.
-Sunday afternoon the Bobcats (0-2) fell to the University of Delaware (1-0) in a neutral site contest at New Balance Field in Boston, Mass.
-Freshman Franziska Schmiedel tallied a team-high four shots for Ohio while sophomore Adele Sammons added two.
- Ohio returns to action next weekend with a pair of matches in Louisville, Ky. The `Cats suit up against William & Mary in a neutral site contest on Saturday (Sept. 7) at 1 p.m. and play host Louisville Sunday (Sept. 8) at 1 p.m.
