BASEBALL
-Ohio will hold its annual Green and White Series on Oct. 18-20 at Wren Stadium.
-Tuesday's opening game is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. Both games on Wednesday and Thursday are set to begin at 6 p.m.
-Head coach Joe Carbone begins his 24th and final season on the bench for the Bobcats this spring.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
-Ohio placed 26th in the 2011 Pre-National Invitational Sunday afternoon.
-The Bobcats were one of 35 teams that took part in the race.
-Junior Tyler Ames paced Ohio as he clocked a time of 25:45 to place 100th.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
-Ohio raced to a 19th-place finish at the 2011 Pre-National Invitational Sunday afternoon.
-The Bobcats were one of 37 teams that competed in the meet.
-Sophomore Emily Pifer was the top Ohio finisher as she placed 44th, finishing the six-kilometer race in a time of 21:21.
-The Bobcats were also one of three teams from the Mid-American Conference and one of five teams from the state of Ohio that took part in the meet. Ohio placed second among teams from both Ohio and the MAC.

FIELD HOCKEY
-Louzeth Schutte scored two goals and Ohio reached the midway point of conference play with a 2-0 win over Kent State on Friday.
-Taylor Brown scored twice and Schutte added her third goal of the weekend as Ohio capitalized on three penalty corners to defeat Missouri State, 3-0 on Sunday.
-The Bobcats remain perfect in conference play and improve to 13-3 overall.
-Jessica Jue assisted on all five goals for the Bobcats this weekend and eclipsed the school's single-season record of 14, previously set by four other players, most recently in 2009.

FOOTBALL
-The Bobcats dropped a 23-20 decision last Saturday at home to Ball State to fall to 1-2 in Mid-American Conference play.
-Ohio has dropped three of its last four games. In those three setbacks, the Bobcats have lost by an average of just 5.3 points per game. In Ohio's last two losses the Bobcats have lost by just three points or less.
-The Bobcats rank second in the MAC in both total offense (435.1) and third in total defense (331.4).
-Quarterback Tyler Tettleton has thrown for 200-yards or more in each of the last five weeks. Last week against Ball State, Tettleton threw for 246 yards.
-Senior wide receiver LaVon Brazill became Ohio all-time leading receiver last week against Ball State after he hauled in eight passes. He currently has 151 receptions.

VOLLEYBALL
-Ohio Volleyball split two matches this weekend, losing in four sets to Ball State before rebounding to sweep Toledo.
-The `Cats lead the MAC East Division by four games and are tied with BSU atop the league standings.
-Chelsea Bilger paced the Ohio attack against the Cardinals with 13 kills, while Kelly Lamberti and Katie Post added 12 and 10, respectively.
-Mollie Geske paced all players with 18 digs, while Lamberti added 16 and Bilger tallied 15 to each finish the night with a double-double.

WOMEN'S SOCCER
-Ohio held its top spot in the Mid-American Conference East standings this weekend, losing to Miami 2-1 in double overtime on Friday before shutting out Bowling Green, 2-0, on Sunday.
-Freshman goalkeeper Nicole Amari made her first-career start as a Bobcat on Sunday, making five saves to post a shutout.
-Toye Famodu had a great weekend for the Green and White, scoring two of Ohio's goals during the weekend and assisting on the third.

SWIMMING AND DIVING
-The Bobcats kicked off their 2011-12 season by hosting the annual Intra-Squad meet, during which Green defeated White by a final score of 119.5 - 104.5
