Randee Duffy is in her fifth year as a member of the Ohio University Athletic Department and her first year as an Associate Athletic Director for NCAA Eligibility and Student Athlete Success. In her newly appointed role, Duffy, who earned both her undergrad and master's degrees from Ohio University, will work with men's basketball, volleyball field hockey, golf, soccer and women's swimming as well as overseeing the academic department, while serving as a liaison between the athletic department and the institution's faculty and staff. In addition, Duffy will meet with prospective student-athletes regarding athletic academic services, NCAA eligibility and the institution's academic opportunities. Duffy begin her tenure at Ohio University in September of 2007, serving as the Academic Coordinator. Prior to coming back to her alma mater, Duffy spent three months at North Carolina State University where she assisted in the academic advising effort for the Wolfpack football program. Duffy also serves on the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics and the National Academic Advisiing Association. The Ohio native holds her both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Ohio University. |
