Kristin Arnold enters her first season as a coordinator in the NCAA Eligibility & Student-Athlete Success office after working as a learning specialist intern during the 2012-13 academic year.

In her new role, Arnold will monitor the progress of and provide academic skill instruction for the men's basketball, baseball and women's soccer teams. Arnold also will facilitate Ohio's student-athlete seminar course (UC 2900).

As a learning specialist from 2012-13, she assisted with the advising and tracking of NCAA academic eligibility for the men's basketball, baseball, field hockey and men's golf programs.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, Arnold graduated from Indiana University in 2010 with a degree in secondary language arts education. She was a four-year member of the Hoosiers' women's soccer team and earned second team All-Big Ten honors as a sophomore in 2007. Arnold was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and earned Capital One Academic All-District honors in 2007.

After her stint in Bloomington, Arnold served as a graduate assistant for the women's soccer team at Emporia State University in Emporia, Ks., for two seasons (2010-11). She earned her Master's of Education from Emporia State in May 2012.
