Ohio alum joins staff after spending the 2012-13 campaign working with Temple University
Tony Hermane is in his first year as Ohio University's Assistant Director of Multi-media. In his current capacity, Hermane shoots, edits and produces content for BobcatTV - the department's primary video platform.
Prior to his appointment within the Ohio athletic department, Hermane served as a freelance video shooter for Time Warner Cable Sports in Southwest Ohio for the 2012-13 academic year. During his time with TWC Sports, Hermane worked on the production crew that broadcast over 20 live high school sporting events throughout Central Ohio.
Hermane began his video career after he spent the entire 2011-12 academic with WOUB. During his time at WOUB, he served on the television crew that production the first-ever episode of the Bobcat Sports Showcase - a 30-minute sports program that was aired throughout the state of Ohio. Through his work with the Bobcat Sports Showcase, Hermane and his staff of five were nominated for the Ohio Valley Chapter Emmy Awards.
The Dayton, Ohio native graduated from Ohio University in 2012 with a degree in video production. Hermane is single and currently resides in Athens, Ohio.
