In her seventh year with OHIO Athletics, Elizabeth Conard serves as the Associate Director for NCAA Eligibility and Student-Athlete Success/Director of Life Skills. She oversees academics for Football, Soccer and Softball.
Conard started with the NCAA Eligibility and Student-Athlete Success office as a Learning Specialist Intern in August 2012 and was hired July 2013 as the Academic Coordinator for Field Hockey, Softball and Wrestling.
Some of her main responsibilities include tracking progress of continuing eligibility for assigned student-athletes, facilitating weekly organizational meetings, and meeting with prospective student-athletes and their families. Elizabeth also serves as the Director of Life Skills and staff advisor for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where she is responsible for coordinating all career development, community service and wellness initiatives for OHIO student-athletes.
A native of Otter Lake, Michigan, Elizabeth worked as a study hall monitor and freshmen football mentor in the Student-Athlete Services department at Central Michigan University prior to her time in Athens. She graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Integrative Public Relations from Central Michigan in August 2010. She then completed her Masters of Science degree in Sports Administration at Georgia State University in May 2012.
