Mascot Appearances

Want to add excitement to your next big event? Send Rufus an invitation. Assuming he is available, we will work with you to ensure that your event is better than ever. All you need to do is fill out a simple form, found here. Rufus is a very busy cat and unfortunately cannot attend all events that he is invited to. Due to his loyalty to Ohio University, Rufus will appear for free to those events from within Ohio University, and they will take precedence over invitations coming from outside the university. Rufus does receive numerous invitations so if you want to ensure an opportunity to mingle with Rufus, we ask that you invite him at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. We do ask that those invitations coming from outside of Ohio University be prepared to compensate Rufus for his time and travel. You will be updated frequently on the status of your request once we receive it.
