CLEVELAND – The Ohio football program's graduate student quarterback
Parker Navarro earned Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week accolades following his performance during the Bobcats' 28-21 victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles (Oct. 25).
Navarro led the Bobcats to their first road game victory of the season on Saturday. The graduate student set multiple single-game highs, including completions (23), completion percentage (82.1) and passing yards (315). Notably, this matchup marked Navarro's first game passing for over 300 yards. The quarterback threw two touchdowns against EMU, both of which were caught by junior wide receiver
Chase Hendricks.
In total, Navarro has earned MAC weekly honors six times; most recently, he was the first Offensive Player of the Week of the season (Sept. 1).
The Bobcats return to action on Tuesday, Nov. 4, when they host the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks for the Battle of the Bricks. Notably, this matchup marks the first time the pair have met since the 2024 MAC Championship. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET and will be on ESPN2 or CBS Sports Network.
