About the Bobcat Representative Program

The Bobcat Representative Program is an initiative that has enabled Ohio Athletics to enhance their relationships with Ohio Bobcat Club members and other friends of the program. The program supports Ohio Athletics by establishing a system to engage over 98,000 alumni and over 2,100 former student-athletes who reside in the state of Ohio, as well as over 1,500 members of the Ohio Bobcat Club across the country. There are approximately 100 Bobcat Reps located in 11 districts throughout Ohio, parts of Kentucky and West Virginia. The creation of this volunteer system also helps the Ohio Bobcat Club provide sustainable & long-term financial support to our student-athletes so they can achieve academic and athletic excellence.

The Rep Program will inform and service current supporters by enlisting a team of volunteers who will help the athletics department with a variety of fun activities in the areas in which they reside. Within each district, Bobcat Reps are building relationships with Bobcat supporters, providing a link to the athletics department, and playing a key role in building athletics success.

Life is about building relationships, and the Bobcat Rep program was created to facilitate a personal connection between Ohio Athletics and Bobcat supporters.

THE PROGRAM HAS THREE GOALS:

  1. Enhance relationships with constituents by providing effective and efficient communication about Ohio Athletics.
  2. Increase Bobcat Club memberships and annual dollars raised to support scholarships for Bobcat student-athletes.
  3. Increase season ticket sales and attendance at Bobcat events both in Athens and across the state of Ohio.

We need people who are passionate about our program, and who will promote a positive image of Ohio Athletics regardless of wins and losses.
