Student Equipment Manager Application

Are you interested in a career in athletics? Do you love sports and being a part of a team? Are you looking for something to enhance your college experience and meet new people? Perhaps a position in the student-equipment manager program with OHIO Athletics is what you're looking for. We have students majoring in programs ranging from Sports Management to Education to Health & Human Services.

Being a student-equipment manager is a great way to be part of the team, network with coaches and administrators, make new friends, gain valuable experience in intercollegiate athletics that will look great on your resume, and make lifelong memories. We offer positions that require varying levels of involvement (see Student-Manager Positions section) to fit your schedules. We also reward our students who are committed to the program with opportunities for scholarships, textbook vouchers, and opportunities for team travel.

MISSION STATEMENT:
To provide OHIO student-athletes, coaches, and support staff with high quality athletic equipment services to ensure their safety and help them achieve their goals...on and off the field of play.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
The student-equipment managers are an important part of the day-to-day behind-the-scenes operation of Ohio Athletics! As a student-equipment manager you will see college athletics from start to finish, as gear and equipment is ordered and arrives during pre-season, to seeing it on the field during a championship game or bowl game on national television. Once you've been a part of the equipment staff, you will never watch a sporting event the same way knowing the long hours and hard work required for just one game - not only by the student-athletes and coaches - but by YOU!
