I can envision an Ohio University Athletic Department in the future where all teams are competing for conference championships, academic achievement is among the nation's elite and the department has long-term financial stability. Athletic success would have campus and constituent spirit at an all-time high and the department benefiting the institution and community in ways never imaged. Sound like a dream?
These are indeed critical times for Ohio University Bobcat Athletics. In order to meet its future aspirations, a road map must be created. To fulfill this need, the athletic department has just completed a five-year strategic plan. This extensive process involved students, faculty, administrative staff, coaches and fans. The plan outlines future vision, priorities and values, goals, strategies and timelines for completion.
