Rico Camacho Hometown: Pittsburgh, Pa. High School: Upper St. Clair Position: Student Assistant

Rico Camacho is in his first year as an assistant swimming coach. Prior to coaching, Rico swam freestyle and backstroke for Ohio University from 2005-2007 under coach Greg Werner. He was a recipient of the team's Tad Potter Award. He looks forward to helping out the team this year and will work primarily with middle distance swimmers, which is a large group that includes some sprinters. He will serve as an on-deck coach during practice and will also work with statistics and/or filming during meets. After graduation, Rico plans to coach high school swimming while teaching middle school math and science. He is a native of Pittsburgh, Pa. and is a senior working to finish his undergraduate degree.
