Women Three-Meter Finals Get Acrobat Reader | Prelims

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Four Ohio University divers participated in the three-meter diving competition at the NCAA Zone C competition on Thursday. Despite registering four quality scores, none of the Bobcat divers advanced out of the preliminary round on the campus of Purdue University.  

Ohio divers earned places 23, 24, 32, and 39 in the field of 55 divers. The top 18 finishers in the preliminary round advanced to the final round.

Morgan Srail (Avon Lake, Ohio) led the way for the Bobcats, placing 23rd in the preliminary round with a final score of 256.25 points. Kristin Capcik (Milwaukee, Wis.) was right on her heels, placing 24th with a score of 254.85.

MaryRose Hillstrom (Dimondale, Mich.) was Ohio's third finisher, ending up 32nd with a score of 238.50. Teammate Haleigh Bartlett (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio) was just a few spots behind, placing 39th with a six-dive score of 226.90 points.

These four Bobcats will next be in action on Friday and will participate in the one-meter diving competition. Live results can be found on DiveMeets.com.
