ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio swimming and diving teams will host its final two meets of the season this weekend against Xavier and Miami.

The Bobcats matchup against Xavier on Friday, Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. and Miami on Saturday, Jan. 20 against at 1 p.m.

The Women's Team
The Ohio women's swim team is 7-2 overall in dual meets this year. The `Cats are coming off a successful weekend with wins over Youngstown State (135-100) and Buffalo (140-91).

Against Youngstown, the Bobcats won 9-of-13 events, including a career-best performance from freshman Lindsay Hamilton. Hamilton scored 264.67 in the one-meter diving event which was .67 better than her previous career-high she set on Nov. 11. It is Hamilton's fourth time taking first place in the event this season. She also won the three-meter diving event with a score of 276.61, topping her previous score of 269.40 on Nov. 4. Against Buffalo, The Ohio women won the first nine events of the meet to finish 10-of-13. Courtney Gallo finished first in the 1000 free in a season-best time of 10:24.92. Ilse Petersen followed in second place with a time of 10:29.36. Petersen later on won the 100 free in a time of 53.57.

The Men's Team
This men's squad is 3-1 overall this season and 1-1 in the MAC after posting a win over Buffalo last weekend. The `Cats edged the Bulls 124-117 and won five events on the evening, including the 400 freestyle relay with a season-best time of 3:10.46. Andrew Belton, Cy Moser, Bayne and Luke Herlehy teamed up for the victory.

Stephen D'Arrigo holds the best time in the MAC for the 100 backstroke event with a time of 52.10.
