Sophomore Addison Ferguson won four individual events and helped Ohio University swimming & diving win two relays last weekend.

CLEVELAND -- Ohio University sophomore Addison Ferguson (Westfield Center, Ohio/Cloverleaf) has been named the Mid-American Conference Swimmer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday (Feb. 10).
Ferguson won four individual events and was a member of two first-place relay teams last weekend for the Bobcats (6-5, 2-3 MAC). She won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.98 and captured the 100-yard freestyle in 53.63 on Friday (Feb. 7) at Xavier, helping the Bobcats post a 127-74 victory. She was also a member of the 200-yard medley relay team that clocked a 1:48.84 to take first place. On Saturday (Feb. 8) at MAC rival Miami, she earned first place in the 100-yard backstroke by clocking a 55.64. She also won the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:04.27 and was a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that timed in at 3:51.05 to claim a victory.
The Bobcats take aim at their 12th league crown when they travel to Geneva, Ohio for the 2014 MAC Championships, which will be held Feb. 27-March 1 at the SPIRE Institute.
