CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ohio Swimming and Diving collected four spots on the 2012 Academic All-MAC team, the Mid-American Conference office announced on Wednesday. In addition to earning four spots, five additional Ohio student-athletes garnered Honorable Mention recognition.

These four Bobcats join 26 student-athletes from across the conference in earning the honor. Five additional Bobcats earned Honorable Mention recognition as well. Alexa Gordish (North Canton, Ohio), Kristen Witham (Fort Wayne, Ind.), Kristyn Repke (Cary, N.C.), Morgan Sprosty (Irvine, Calif.) and Petra Chomicz (King's Lynn, England) also performed well academically and athletically for the Bobcats during the 2011-12 season.
