Swimming a very strong junior campaign for the Bobcats, Funk earned CSCAA Mid-Major All-American Honorable Mention status and racked up five top-ten finishes at the 2012 Mid-American Conference Championships, including second in the 200 and 400 Freestyle Relay events.

The Bobcats will open the 2012-13 season with their annual intra-squad meet on Oct. 12. Ohio will begin the regular season by hosting Eastern Michigan on Oct. 27.
