2013: INDOOR SEASON: Kicked off the 2013 indoor season with a fourth-place finish in the 3,000m at the prestigious Meyo Invitational, placing in a season-best 9:32.92...Was part of the Ohio DMR team that captured the MAC title in a meet-record time of 11:26.80...Also won titles in the mile (4:53.33) and 3000m (9:36.43) at the league event...Wrapped up the indoor season with a fourth-place finish in the 5000m at Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invitational (16:31.56). OUTDOOR SEASON: Kicked off the outdoor season by breaking the school record in the 5,000m run (16:13.56) en route to a first-place finish at the Wake Forest Open...Followed up that record-setting performance with a personal-best time in the 10,000m (33:52.33) at the Stanford Invitational, which stood as the 36th-best time in the nation at season's end...Captured the 10,000m title at the All-Ohio Championships (34:38.93) and won the 1500m run at the Ohio Open (4:33.99)...Earned a first-place finish in the 5000m run at the MAC Championships (16:36.65) and finished eighth in the 1,500m run in a personal-best time of 4:32.16...Qualified for the NCAA East Regional in the 5,000m and 10,000m.
2012: INDOOR SEASON: Proved to be a breakout sophomore season for Accurso, she won the Mid-American Conference title with her team in the Distance Medley Relay, where she competed in the final leg of the relay. She came back to win second place in the mile run at the MAC Championship as well as first place in the 3000m run. She qualified for the NCAA Division One National Championship in the 5000m run and placed twelfth overall, achieving All-American status for the second time. She ended the season with a 15:58 personal best in the 5000m run, 9:21 in the 3000m run and 4:48 in the mile run. OUTDOOR SEASON: Did not compete, spent the quarter studying abroad in France.
2011: INDOOR SEASON: Finished in sixth place at the Ohio State Invitational in her first event as a Bobcat. Finished in first place in the 4000DMR (11:43.41) at the MAC Conference Championships and the mile event (5:03.27) at the Akron Invitational. Finished in fourth place in the mile event at the ALl-Ohio Indoor Championships. OUTDOOR SEASON: Finished in first place in the 1500m at both the Ohio Open and the ASICS/Winthrop Invitational. Member of the 4x8 team that placed first at the Gina Relays and second at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships.
