She achieved her season best throw of of 44-5.75 at the Ohio State Invitational, placing 11th. OUTDOOR SEASON: Competed in the javelin, discus and hammer throw. At the HPU VertKlasse Meeting, she placed fourth in the discus, fifth in the hammer throw and sixth in the javelin. Placed second in the javelin at the Jesse Owens Track Classic with a throw of 98-1.25. Followed that performance up with a throw of 105-7 at the All-Ohio Championship, good for ninth place. At the Ohio Open, she threw a personal record of 106-2 in the javelin and another personal record of 152-7 in the hammer throw. She topped those performances off with a season best throw of 137-0 in the discus. At the Mid-American Conference Championship, she placed 11th in the javelin with a throw of 105-5.75. She also competed in the discus and hammer at the MAC meet, throwing 125-1.5 and 143-10.75, respectively for another two top-20 finishes. 2011: INDOOR SEASON: Recorded her highest finish in the weight event (sixth place) at the Crusader Invite. OUTDOOR SEASON: Took second place in the discus throw at the ASICS/Winthrop Invitational with a throw of 37.89m. Finished fourth in the same event at the Ohio Open where she threw 40.70m. Recorded her longest discus throw of 43.05m at the Shamrock Invitational. |
