Posted top-ten finishes in the shot put at the Ohio State Invitational and the Youngstown State Invitational. Threw her season best in the weight throw (48-9.75), and her season best in the shot put (44-9.5) at the Ohio State Tune-Up, placing 12th and third respectively. Finished 11th in the shot put at the Mid-American Conference Championship, throwing 42-11.75 to finish the season. OUTDOOR SEASON: Competed in the discus, shot put and hammer throw for the Bobcats. Had a very good meet at the Ohio Women's Challenge, earning a new season best of 110-9.5 in the discus to place sixth, as well as a first place finish in the shot put with a throw of 43-5.75. Placed third in the shot put at the Hillsdale Gina Relays, throwing a new season best distance of 45-1.25. At the Ohio Open, placed second in the shot put (42-2.25) and ninth in the hammer throw with a personal record distance of 131-9. Finished her freshman season with a 13th place finish in the shot put (43-2.5) at the Mid-American Conference Championship. |
