ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio Track and Field completed the 2012 MAC Outdoor Championships by collecting five more top-10 finishes on Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats would end the three-day event in 11th place.

Freshman Chanda Cuckler was fifth in the high jump, Ohio's best finish of the day, missing her PR by .01 meters. She finished with a leap of 1.67m,, five-hundredths of a meter behind the winner's height.

Senior Hope McCarty and sophomore Emily Pifer both finished eighth in their respective races. McCarty, who had the second fastest time in qualifying ran a 2:10.66 in the finals of the 800m. Pifer, who had finished fourth in the 10k, ran a time of 17:21.96 in the 5k.

Ohio's two relay teams also ran on the final day. The 4x4 squad of Kiley Mathews, McCarty, Brittany Tyree and Danielle Winningham finished ninth with a time of 3:51.72 and the 4x1 quartet of Mathews, Alexis Geiger, Kaylah Howard and Winningham was 10th. However, the 4x1 team did set a new PR mark in the event by six-tenths of a second.
