TOLEDO, Ohio – The Ohio track & field team wrapped up action Saturday at the 2016 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships finishing in 10th place at Toledo.
The Bobcats scored 32 team points in the three-day competition. Eastern Michigan took the women’s title with 152 team points.
Ohio senior Kristin Winkel (Avon Lake, Ohio) took fourth-place in the 100 meter hurdles clocking a 13.97.
Senior Tessa Weigand (Akron, Ohio) finished 12th in the 1,500 meter run clocking a time of 4:44.73.
Sophomore Emma Ryan (Vincent, Ohio) took eighth in the discus with a throw of 148-7.25.
The Bobcats 4x400 relay team of senior Hayley Stegemiller (Lebanon, Ohio), sophomore Kaitlyn Logan (Granville, Ohio), freshman Erin Stewart (Chardon, Ohio) and freshman Gracie Huffman (Pleasant Hill, Ohio) took ninth overall and second in the first heat with a time of 3:52.83.
The Bobcats will await NCAA Championship selections to see who from the squad will move on to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championship.
