ATHENS, Ohio - The Bobcat indoor track and field team will head to Pittsburgh to compete in the Robert Morris Six Way on Friday, Jan. 23. The field includes Youngstown State, Washington & Jefferson, Geneva College and Carnegie Mellon, along with RMU and Ohio.

Last weekend, the Bobcats participated in the BGSU Women's Challenge and placed sixth out of nine teams. Junior Bahiyjaui Allen (Toledo, Ohio) and senior Jessie Tanner (Newark, Ohio) both broke their own school records at the event. Allen set a new mark in the shot put at 49-5.00, breaking her previous record by two feet. Her distance is the second-best in the Mid-American Conference to date. Tanner threw 55-9.75 in the weight throw to eclipse her old mark by a half inch.

Complete results of Friday's meet, held in RMU's Charles Sewall Center, will be available on OhioBobcats.com.
