ATHENS, Ohio -
The Ohio University women's track & field team heads to one of the premier events of the spring season this weekend, when the Bobcats compete in the All-Ohio Championships at the University of Cincinnati's Gettler Stadium.

The meet gets underway with field events on Friday at noon, with a brief track program kicking off at 5:30 p.m. Saturday's events begin at 9 a.m.

Fans can follow the action live throughout the weekend by clicking here.

The annual event will be scored and will include NCAA Teams from Division I, Division II, as well as a faction of NAIA squads. There will be an overall standings table, as well as a division-specific tabulation.

Buckeye State teams competing at the All-Ohio Championships include MAC programs Akron, Bowling Green and Miami, as well as Ashland, Cedarville, Central State, host Cincinnati, Dayton, Findlay, Notre Dame (Ohio), Ohio Dominican, Ohio State, Rio Grande, Shawnee State, Tiffin, Ursuline, Wright State and Xavier.

A trio of Ohio student-athletes will represent the Bobcats in the heptathlon, which begins Friday afternoon. The group includes junior Chanda Cuckler (Athens, Ohio), sophomore Hayley Stegemiller (Lebanon, Ohio) and freshman Mackenzie Rankin (Louisville, Ohio).

Cuckler finished fourth in the heptathlon at last year's MAC Outdoor Championships while posting the most points (5,034) by a Bobcat since 1994.

After tying her personal best and winning the hammer throw at last weekend's Ohio Cherry Blossom Invitational, junior Donyelle Brown (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) will look to grab another title in the event on Friday at 4 p.m. She'll be joined in the entry pool by junior Janiece Rose (Franklinville, N.J.), senior Lauren McCullough (Lancaster, Ohio) and freshman Emma Ryan (Vincent, Ohio).

Sophomore Krista Roehlig (Uniontown, Ohio) won the first race of her Ohio career last weekend with a victory in the 5000m run and will look to take another solid finish Friday in the 10000m run.

In distance events Saturday, senior Melissa Thompson (Westerville, Ohio) leads Ohio in the 1500m run after qualifying for the MACs with a third-place finish at last week's Cherry Blossom Invite. She'll be joined by sophomores Sarah Kaufman (Zanesville, Ohio), Tessa Weigand (Akron, Ohio) and Peyton Adkins (Gallipolis, Ohio).

The Bobcats will feature a pair of participants in the 400m hurdles, including junior Karissa Conrad (Lancaster, Ohio), who finished seventh at the Cherry Blossom, and Rankin.

In the 800m run on Saturday, junior Delaney Bolger (Lebanon, Ohio) will look to build on her personal-best time (2:15.32) at the Cherry Blossom.
