Women's Track Competes at Hillsdale Relays

Hillsdale, Mich. - Melody Royster, Jacki Waller and Michelle Borsz each garnered a first place finish leading the Bobcats to a strong showing at the Hillsdale Relays this weekend.
Royster continued her stellar junior campaign winning the 100m hurdles in a time of 14.02. The Heath native also placed second in the 100m dash (12.18) and third in the 200m dash (25.30). Waller captured first place in the 10,000m (36:24), while Borsz placed first in the high jump (1.752m).

Sophomore Foli James (Albany) finished second behind Borsz in the high jump (1.625m) and fourth in the long jump (5.700m). Junior Katie Fiala (Rocky River) was the runner-up to Waller in the 10,000m (36:57).

Other Bobcat top finishes include Sarah List (3rd, 1.574m) in the high jump, C'Rai Weeden (3rd, 56.74) in the 400m dash, Heather Moore (5th, 37.130m) in the javelin, Martine Ward (5th, 11.440m) in the triple jump, Mary Williams (5th, 40,930m) in the discus and Kerra Brown (5th, 57.61) in the 400m dash. The Bobcats 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams each captured second place behind Calvin College.

The Bobcats will be back in action on May 5 when they host the Ohio Quad at 11:30 a.m.
