CLEVELAND, Ohio - Bahiyjaui Allen (Toledo, Ohio) was named to the All-MAC Second Team after setting a new school record and taking the silver in the shot put at last weekend's Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The sophomore tallied a throw of 51 feet, 11.25 inches at the MAC Championships in Bowling Green. She earned eight points for the Bobcats at the tournament with the second place showing in the shot and she also grabbed four points for the 'Cats in the hammer throw, with her throw of 159 feet, seven inches good for fifth place.

Competitors who finished first in events were named to the All-MAC First-Team and those who placed second earned All-MAC Second-Team honors.

Akron took home the most awards, with 10 competitors (seven first team, three second team) named to the first and second teams, combined.

Western Michigan had the next best total with five All-MAC selections.
