FAYETEVILLE, Ark. - Ohio's Bahiyjaui Allen (Toledo, Ohio) earned USTFCCCA Division I Outdoor Track and Field All-Region Team honors after her eighth place showing in the Mideast Regional on Saturday at the University of Arkansas.

The teams are sponsored by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association and the top-eight placers in each of the regional's events earned USTFCCCA All-Regional Team honors.

Joining Allen on the shot put all-region team are Memphis' Susan King (who won the event at the Mideast Regional), Louisville's Jere Summers, Tennessee's Annie Alexander, Louisiana Tech's Nadia Alexander, Kent State's Levania Henderson, Illinois's Aja Evans, and Purdue's Stacey Wannemacher.

Allen broke her own school record in the outdoor shot put with her throw of 52 feet, 2.25 inches.
