CLEVELAND, Ohio - Senior cross country runner Brian King (Richfield, Minn.) was named the MAC Cross Country Runner of the Week after his 12th place performance at the Notre Dame Invitational on Sept. 30. King led the Bobcats to a 7th place team finish with a time of 25:16 in the race.

King's time is his best since running 25:03 at the 2005 NCAA Pre-Nationals. It is also the best time for a Bobcat runner this season.

King is the first Bobcat to win the Men's Runner of the Week honor this season.

Next on the slate for the Bobcats is trip to Delaware, Ohio where the men's and women's teams will compete in the All-Ohio Championship on Oct. 6.
