Ohio Women take 11th at All-Ohio Championship

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Ohio women’s cross country team placed 11th out of 39 teams with 348 points in Friday’s All-Ohio Championship at Ohio Wesleyan University. Toledo won the meet with 46 points.
Sophomore Kelly Felter led the Bobcats, taking 39th place with a time of 19:48. Senior Tracy Weitthoff was Ohio’s next runner, placing 52nd (19:59). Freshman Alicia Myers, who missed the last meet with the flu, finished 60th (20:03). Also running for the Bobcats were freshman Lauren Birnie (87th, 20:24), sophomore Tara LaVelle (111th, 20:42), and freshman Erin Sutherland (113th, 20:44).
The Bobcats will try to rebound next Saturday, October 19 when they travel to Terre Haute, Indiana for the NCAA Pre-National Meet.
