2003: Had the biggest impact of any freshman on the team with .379 batting average and 41 runs scored in 47 games played - including 32 starts... earned first start against Virginia Tech on March 25 - went 2-for-4... drove in a career-best three runs against Kent State on Apr. 26... scored three runs in a game on four occasions... set personal standard with four hits against Miami at the MAC Tournament on May 22... finished second on team with 10 stolen bases in 16 attempts... hit in 12 straight games from Apr. 26-May 10... finished the season riding a seven-game steak... hit .400 (32-80) against the conference with 28 runs scored in 24 games - 20 starts.
