Earned first win April 11 at Eastern Michigan and earned another win a day later when he threw a season-high six strikeouts ... Hurled 52 strikeouts, second on the team, to just 19 walks ... 2008 Summer League: Played for the league-winning Springfield Sliders of the Central Illinois Collegiate League ... Selected to the All-Star Game ... Went 6-2 with a 2.96 ERA ... Struck out 59 hitters in 69.2 innings pitched, with only 14 walks.

Community College: Named second-team all-conference and an Academic All-American at Garden City Community College, where he played with fellow Bobcat Rex Ingham ...
