Belted 21 home runs, second most in Ohio single-season history (behind Krauss' 27 in 2009) and second in the league (tied for ninth in MAC single-season history)... Batted .313 (62-for-198) in 49 games (all starts) while slugging .682 (seventh in the MAC) ... Led the team with 11 stolen bases in 13 tries ... Totaled 135 bases (tied for eighth in the MAC) with a pair of triples and six doubles ... His 61 runs tied for sixth in the MAC and tied for seventh in Ohio history ... 2008 Summer League: Played for the Southern Ohio Copperheads, who went 19-21 in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, along with four other Bobcats ... Started seven games, batting .136 in the wooden-bat league ... Had three hits, including a double, in 22 at-bats ... Scored three runs and collected an RBI ... Had a .240 on-base percentage ... Tied for the league lead with a 1.000 fielding percentage and was the only player on the team not to commit an error.

2008: Appeared in 53 games, starting 45 in the outfield ... Had a batting average of .264, earning 47 hits in 178 at-bats ... Was fifth on the team with seven home runs, hitting his first as a Bobcat in his first game for Ohio Feb. 23 at Charleston Southern ... Also went 2-for-2 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored in his first game as a Bobcat, all in a pinch-hit role ... Scored 36 runs, while driving in 35, including a season-high five RBIs May 6 versus Otterbein ... Registered a season-high four hits May 17 at Buffalo ... Ranked fifth on the team with 11 doubles and had two triples to help his .466 slugging percentage, which was also fifth on the squad ... Had 11 multi-hit games ... Earned 16 walks and was hit by a pitch eight times, leading to a .350 on-base percentage ... Was the only everyday starter not to ground into a double play all season ... Led the team with 10 stolen bases in 11 tries ... Committed just three errors, lowest among everyday starters.

High School: Played center field at University School for head coach Tony Iliano ... Was ranked the top right-handed hitting center fielder in Ohio (No. 10 prospect overall in Ohio) and also received a four-star ranking from The Buckeye Scout ... Hit .582 as a senior for the Preppers, collecting 34 RBIs and 23 stolen bases ... Did not commit an error at center field as a senior ... Named to the Cleveland Plain Dealer Cuyahoga County First Team and the Cleveland Plain Dealer All-Star Team in 2006 ... A two-time participant of the East Coast Professional Showcase.
