ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University baseball team has rescheduled its 2013 home-opener against Oakland for Saturday afternoon due to poor weather conditions. The Bobcats will open the year with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
Ohio's home-opener against Oakland will mark the first two of a three-game series with the Golden Grizzles. Over the next two weeks, the Bobcats will play 11 of their next 12 games at Bob Wren Stadium.
In 2012, Ohio posted a 16-13 mark at home and batted .298 as a team inside Bob Wren Stadium.
