ATHENS, Ohio - With rain in the forecast for Sunday, April 19, Ohio University head baseball coach Joe Carbone announced that Saturday's (April 18) game between Ohio and Akron will now be a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. ET. Sunday's game, originally slated for 1 p.m., will now be played on Saturday as part of the doubleheader, which will feature two nine-inning games. Saturday's action was originally set to start at 3 p.m., but was bumped up two hours to accommodate the second game of the twin bill.

Friday's contest against Akron will still be played at 6 p.m. ET as scheduled. Live stats will be available for all three games on OhioBobcats.com and will be broadcast on WATH 970 AM in Athens and streamed live on OhioBobcats.com, with the "Voice of the Bobcats" Russ Eisenstein and Brian Boesch on the call. Pre-game coverage starts 15 minutes prior to first pitch Friday and both games Saturday.
