The Ohio University baseball team returns to action on Friday at 7 p.m. as it welcomes Eastern Michigan University to Bob Wren Stadium for the start of a three-game series with the Eagles. All three games this weekend will be broadcast live on WOUB 1340 am and on OhioBobcats.com. "Voice of the Bobcats" Russ Eisenstein and Ryan Boyd will have the call.

Ohio Drops Series Finale to Eastern Michigan, 13-6
Sophomores Jake Madsen and Cody Gaertner each tallied three hits, but the Ohio University baseball team still came up short on Easter Sunday as the Bobcats (5-21; 2-4 MAC) fell 13-6 to Eastern Michigan in the series finale at Oestrike Stadium.
-Ohio is in the midst of an eight-game homestand inside Bob Wren Stadium.
-The Bobcats will play 11 of their last 15 games at home.
-Ohio has dropped 15 games by three runs or less this season.
-Ohio is 6-0 when leading after seven innings.
-The Bobcats have collected 10-or-more hits in 11 of their 37 games this season.
-Ohio has turned 31 double plays this season, which is tied for second in the Mid-American Conference coming into this week.

Ohio will faceoff against Eastern Michigan for the 112th time in school history on Friday. Eastern Michigan leads the all-time series 63-48. The last time the two teams met was in 2013 at EMU. In that series, the Eagles took two of three games from Ohio.
SCOUTING EASTERN MICHIGAN
The Eagles enter their weekend series matchup with Ohio, having lost three of their last four games. EMU's lone win during that stretch came in a 14-6 win over Hillsdale. Offensively, EMU has three players with 25 RBI. Lee Longo leads the Eagles with a .371 batting average. With runners in scoring position, Longo is batting an impressive .463 (25-for-54), including a .667 clip of knocking in the runner on third with less than two outs (8-for-12). Eagles starting pitcher Paul Schaak leads the team with a 2.84 earned run average.
RECAPPING THE MOREHEAD STATE GAME
The Ohio University baseball team dropped a 12-4 decision to Morehead State, 12-4, Tuesday (April 22) at Bob Wren Stadium. Junior Taylor Emody led Ohio's offense with two hits and one run, while junior Tyler Wells and John Adryan each chipped in with one RBI. Freshman Gerry Salisbury started on the mound for the `Cats, fanning three in 4.1 innings of work.
