Every week Ohio Athletics will publish a recap of Bobcats in the Pro's. Here is the recap of the past seven days.

Marc Krauss - Oklahoma City RedHawks (Triple-A Affiliate of the Houston Astros), OF
Krauss appeared in six games this week for the RedHawks. His most notable game was on Tuesday when he went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. Krauss' numbers on the season are:

.275 AVG, 10 Doubles, 2 Triples, 8 Home Runs, 31 RBIs, 35 Walks, 2 Stolen Bases, 31 runs

Adam Russell- Norfolk Tides (Triple-A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays), RHP
Russell appeared in two games this week for the Tides. Most notably was on Friday when Russell threw two innings, giving up only one hit and striking out one. His numbers on the season are:

3-0, 2.36 ERA, 26.2 IP, 31 strikeouts, 15 G

Seth Streich - Beloit Snappers (Single-A Affiliate of the Oakland Athletics), RHP
After being selected as a sixth round draft pick by the Athletics last year, Streich was called up to the Snappers this year. He appeared in two games this past week, starting in both. His best outing was on Sunday when he threw five innings and gave up one earned run on five hits with two strikeouts. Streich's numbers on the season are:

5-3, 6.16 ERA, 49.2 IP, 36 strikeouts, 1 complete game.

Gauntlett Eldemire- Lake Erie Crushers (Independent - Frontier League), OF
Eldemire appeared in five games this past week for the Crushers. His most notable game was on Saturday when he went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI. His numbers on the season are:

.313 AVG, 5 doubles, 4 RBIs, 12 games.

Brent Choban - Florence Freedom (Independent - Frontier League), LHP
Choban appeared in two games for the Freedom this week, starting in both. His best start came on Tuesday as he threw 6.1 innings and surrendered just two runs on seven hits with six strikeouts. Choban matched up against his former roommate at Ohio University in the game (Gauntlett Eldemire), holding him hitless. Choban's season numbers are:

2-0, 3.91 ERA, 4 GS, 23.0 Innings pitched, 19 strikeouts.

Jerod Yakubik - Joliet Slammers (Independent - Frontier League), 1B
Yakubik appeared in the season opener for the Slammers before getting injured. Yakubik was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in the opener. Yakubik played for the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League last year and was named an All-Star.
