ATHENS, Ohio - Every week Ohio Athletics will publish a recap of Bobcats in the Pro's. Here is the recap of the past seven days.

Marc Krauss - Houston Astros, RF
Krauss made his major league debut this past week as he joined the Astros for their series in Chicago. He pinch hit in his first game on Friday, striking out in his first at-bat. He played his first full game on Sunday, starting in right field and going 0-for-4.

Krauss' numbers on the season in Triple-A Oklahoma City are:
.277 BA, 14 doubles, 2 triples, 9 home runs, 35 RBIs, 43 walks, 2 stolen bases, 36 runs

Adam Russell- Norfolk Tides (Triple-A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays), RHP
Russell appeared in three games last week for the Tides. Most notably was on Thursday when Russell threw 2.0 scoreless innings, surrendering one hit and striking out two.

Russell's numbers on the season are:
3-2, 2.63 ERA, 41.0 IP, 42 strikeouts, 22 G

Seth Streich - Beloit Snappers (Single-A Affiliate of the Oakland Athletics), RHP
After being selected as a sixth round draft pick by the Athletics last year, Streich was called up to the Snappers this year. He appeared in one game this past week. He threw 7.0 innings, giving up no runs and scattering four hits with six strikeouts and picked up the win.

Streich's numbers on the season are:
7-4, 4.95 ERA, 67.1 IP, 52 strikeouts, 1 CG

Gauntlett Eldemire- Lake Erie Crushers (Independent - Frontier League), OF
Eldemire appeared in three games this past week for the Crushers. Gauntlett's most notable game was on Sunday when he went 1-for-3 with a triple and a run scored.

Eldemire's numbers on the season are:
.260 BA, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 4 RBIs, 8 runs scored, 24 games

Brent Choban - Florence Freedom (Independent - Frontier League), LHP
Choban appeared in four games out of the bullpen for the Freedom this week. He threw 2.1 innings on Tuesday, surrendering no runs on three hits and struck out two.

Choban's numbers on the season are:
2-2, 4.50 ERA, 11 G, 5 GS, 32.0 innings pitched, 25 strikeouts

Jerod Yakubik - Joliet Slammers (Independent - Frontier League), 1B
Yakubik played for the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League last year and was named an All-Star. Yakubik played in six games this week for the Slammers. His best performance came on Friday when he went 2-for-4 with a double.

Yakubik's numbers on the season are:
.300 BA, 5 doubles, 3 RBIs, 6 walks, 15 games
