ATHENS, Ohio - Every week Ohio Athletics will publish a recap of Bobcats in the Pro's. Here is the recap of the past seven days.

Marc Krauss- Houston Astros, RF
Krauss appeared in six games this past week for the Astros. Krauss picked up his first career RBI with two on Saturday, while going 3-for-4 at the plate with a run scored. On Sunday, Krauss hit his first major league home run in Texas and he drilled a two-run bomb to centerfield. Click here to watch Krauss' first career home run.

Krauss' numbers with the Astros this year are:
.217 BA, 12 G, 1 double, 1 HR, 4 RBI

Adam Russell- Norfolk Tides (Triple-A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays), RHP
Russell appeared in two games last week for the Tides. Russell's best appearance came on Monday when he threw two scoreless innings, surrendering just two hits with two strikeouts.

Russell's numbers on the season are:
3-2, 2.45 ERA, 44.0 IP, 44 strikeouts, 25 G, 3 GS

Seth Streich - Beloit Snappers (Single-A Affiliate of the Oakland Athletics), RHP
Streich started in one game this past week. He went 5.1 innings, giving up two runs on seven hits with one strikeout.

Streich's numbers on the season are:
9-5, 4.34 ERA, 85.0 IP, 67 strikeouts, 1 CG, 17 GS

Brett Barber - Bluefield Blue Jays (Rookie ball affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays), RHP
Barber was drafted in early June by the Blue Jays in the 37th round of the MLB Draft. He was sent to rookie ball with Bluefield after signing. Barber has appeared in two games this week out of the bullpen. His best outing was last Thursday after he surrendered no hits with one strikeout over one inning of work to pick up a save.

Barber's numbers on the season are:
1-0, 2.08 ERA, 4 G, 6 strikeouts, 4.1 IP, 1 save

J.R. Reynolds - Arizona League Reds (Rookie ball affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) - C
Reynolds signed recently as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Reds and was sent down to the Arizona League Reds. Reynolds has appeared in five games so far in Arizona.

Reynolds numbers on the season are:
.364 BA, 2 runs, 4 hits, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 7 BB

Gauntlett Eldemire- Lake Erie Crushers (Independent - Frontier League), OF
Eldemire was placed on the 14-day injured list this past week after injuring his hand.

Eldemire's numbers on the season are:
.253 BA, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 5 RBIs, 8 runs scored, 27 G

Brent Choban - Florence Freedom (Independent - Frontier League), LHP
Choban appeared in two games out of the bullpen for the Freedom this week. He threw three innings throughout the week, surrendering one run on three hits with two strikeouts.

Choban's numbers on the season are:
2-3, 4.09 ERA, 16 G, 5 GS, 37.1 IP, 27 strikeouts.

Jerod Yakubik - Joliet Slammers (Independent - Frontier League), INF/OF
Yakubik played for the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League last year and was named an All-Star. Yakubik played in six games last week for the Slammers. His best performance came on Sunday when he went 2-for-5.

Yakubik numbers on the season are:
.258 BA, 5 doubles, 1 home run, 7 RBIs, 13 walks, 27 G
