Ohio Baseball to Hold Fall Camps in September

ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University baseball team announced its dates for the 2012 Bobcat Prospect Camp. This year's two-day camp will be conducted in two separate sessions and is open to players in grades 9-12.

Session one will take place Sept. 15-16 and the second session will be held on Sept. 29-30 inside Bob Wren Stadium on the Ohio University campus. The cost of the camp $225 per person. For more information and to register please click here or call Recruiting Coordinator Craig Moore at 740-868-7341.

"My staff and I are extremely excited about having an opportunity to work with some of the area's top talent," Smith said. "We truly feel this is a camp where players can take their game to the next level and get a feel for what Ohio University is all about."

Those who attend the camp will receive professional instruction from first-year head coach Rob Smith and his coaching staffing staff in all area of the game including hitting, defense, base running, pitching and strength and conditioning.

7:15pm - Defensive Positional Breakdown
8:15pm - Offensive Breakdown Session
9:30pm - Final Remarks and Dismiss

Day Two

9:15am - Defensive Breakdown
10:00am - Games/Offensive Breakdown Session
12:00pm - Lunch
1:00pm - Games/Offensive Breakdown Session
