ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University baseball team will hold a walk-on meeting for Ohio University students interested in trying out for the Bobcats baseball team.

The meeting will take place Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 5:30 p.m. at Bob Wren Stadium. All participants must present a physical and fill out a participation form at this meeting. Attendance at the meeting is mandatory in order to try out.

In 2012, Ohio batted .285 and sported a league-best 3.73 team ERA, while winning 28 games to earn a spot in the Mid-American Conference Championship.
