Prior to Ohio
A player with incredible length and athleticism, Goard will be a welcome addition to the Bobcat Family. Goard has been praised by numerous scouts, coaches and recruiting analysts as someone with great defensive instincts and plays very good on-ball as well as help defense. An unselfish passer with good court vision, Goard will also be a valuable asset on the offensive side of the ball for the Green & White. After leading the Patriots to a 21-5 record and a trip to the Class AAA semifinals last season, Goard took his team to the next level this year. The First Team All-Mountain State Athletic Conference selection led his team to a 52-37 upset of No. 2 seed Morgantown in the state semifinals to avenge last year's loss and then defeated No. 1 seed Wheeling in the state championship game.
