-With a 65-60 win over Michigan in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, Ohio has now won a tournament game in back-to-back appearances, with the last coming in 2010 in an upset of third-seeded Georgetown.
-The win marks the first time in Ohio's history that the Bobcats have won an NCAA Tournament game as the 13-seed. Ohio was seeded as a 13 only one time prior to 2012, falling in 2005 to Florida in Nashville.

-Ohio improves to 61-19 under head coach John Groce when holding opponents to less than 70 points and 25-2 this season when going into the half with the lead. Ohio led Michigan by six at halftime on Friday.
-For the game, Ohio shot 51.2 percent from the field, marking the sixth time this season the Bobcats have shot 50 percent or better in a contest.
-With 21 points against Michigan, Ohio guard D.J. Cooper has now recorded seven 20-point performances this season and 24 in his career. The 21 points put Cooper over 500 points for the season, giving him 518 points this year.
