Jim Christian, Head Coach
On the game
"We set some goals coming into the game. We wanted to start the game off well, and we did a good job with that. It was great to get some guys some minutes and to get some conditioning work for our injured players."

On the team's rebounding ability
"It was phenomenal. I put a huge emphasis on showing offensive rebounding. It was a major goal for us, to get at least 72 percent of the offensive rebounds, and we exceeded that. We challenged the perimeter guys to get rebounds, and now we've got to continue to do that."

On the team
"The one thing I've learned about this group is that they play the game very smart, they're anticipating the play before it happens. They take pride in understanding what the emphasis is, then they go out and do it. They're able to carry the game plan over into live play, and it's fun to watch. I know those guys are going to come in and play the right way. The guys who come off and bring the energy, they didn't have their best game today, but I have confidence in them. They have a lot of energy, but they need more game experience so they can settle down and just play."

Walter Offutt, #3
On the game
"Coach wanted us to get the rebound, share the ball and get it to (D.J.) Cooper. As long as we can rebound then we can do well. The first initial blow as far as the lead was really big to keep their momentum down."

On defense
"Coach emphasizes it at practice: stop them, score, stop them again. As long as we continue to work on it, we'll have a better game."

On rebounding
"You try to get better every game. Coach Christian has been all about rebounding the ball, if you rebound, then you'll probably get stops or extra baskets. We have great players, we're a great team, and as long as we continue to rebound and get better, we'll win."

On his teammates
"We've been playing together going on three years, we just know what each other is about. We flow, get ready and move onto the next game."

D.J. Cooper, #5
On the game
"I feel good, Coach has some trust in me. I just go out there and play what I feel, whatever the defense gives me."

On Ivo Baltic
"He played confidently and he bounced back tonight from last week."

On the upcoming schedule
"We practiced hard, but as a player you love to compete. As long as you take care of your body, back to back games are great."
